The City of Philadelphia’s (Northern Liberties) one and only Independent film, media, and politics art house, complete with multiple studios, a spacious parlour ideal for pre and post film get-together’s, and more.
Produced by the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival and hosted by the Media Bureau in 12,000 square feet of multi-media studio space, the Media Bureau screening room is the home of the Underground Film Forum (#UFF) weekly screenings. We offer an intimate one of a kind experience, providing the audience with a theatrical experience in a home-like setting with true ongoing audience interaction.
Programming from our extensive and ongoing collection of Independent films, festival favorites, genre films, documentaries, midnight cult-movie’s, film slam selections, and more, the forum’s are open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with ongoing special events scheduled Wednesday from 9pm -12am including film release events, musical acts, Q & sessions with filmmakers, roundtable’s, and much more!
Fans of independent cinema are provided a one of a kind forum to converge, network, share, and innovate in the Media Bureau freeRADlab, a homegrown interactive internet cafe, located just outside the 8′ x 12′ HD screening room.
